Our organisation could not survive financially without the generosity shown by many grateful clients that we have helped over the years and their kind-hearted families and friends. • DIAL Wakefield provides an essential advice service to support local individuals with long-term health issues and disabilities. Wakefield Council and Wakefield NHS contribute £70,000 towards our annual running costs, which currently exceed £100,000.
• Our organisation could not survive financially without the generosity shown by clients we have been helping since 1984, and the donations from their grateful family and friends.
• Many social and healthcare organisations refer clients on to us, and due to this we are a victim of our own success, as demand for our services has been increasing.
• Over £2.5 million in disability benefits was awarded to our clients last year which may well be spent in local towns and villages across the Wakefield district.
• We strive to maintain our exceptionally high standards and levels of client service.
• The future of any voluntary, not for profit organisation, totally reliant on grant funding and donations is always uncertain. Please help us to manage and overcome that uncertainty.
